My favorite products as a Breast Pumping Mama

As someone who has chosen to breastfeed on hard mode I need lots of tools to extract, contain, and warm up my breastmilk. Besides my breast pumps here are the products that I rely on to maintain supply, maintain healthy nips, and keep my milk properly stored.

1. Earth Mama Nipple Butter – I don’t slide on those flanges without a little barrier between me and my milkmakers. This is my favorite nipple butter. Provides a great barrier and prevents cracking without any coconut oil (you know because some of us are allergic).
2. Ceres Chill Milk Storage – When I’m gonna be out all day this is my go-to storage for both holding baby girl’s fresh milk and adding more milk on the go. Even though there are now other storage bottles out on the market I continue to go back to this one because it is so reliable and easy to use on the go.
3. Maymom inserts – These inserts are perfect for me. I’ve tried some of the newer ones that have come on the market but these are still my favorites. They have just the right amount of grip. They’re not too slippery and not too rough so I get just the right amount of stimulation to have an effective session even when I have to size down a flange.
4. Mini Bloom Hallelujah Nipple Balm – My favorite ointment to cure overworked or cracked nips. I put a dab of this stuff into my silverettes, pop them on and go to sleep and in the morning I wake up with refreshed milkmakers.
5. Parker Baby Nursing Cover– It’s a nursing cover, a car seat cover, a pumping cover, grocery cart, and high chair cover. Whether you need to cover yourself or something the baby is using this thing does it all. I use this whenever I have to get set up to pump in public and I’m pretty sure I have yet to flash anyone.
